LOGO CONCEPT
“Pla-Ta-Pian” is a Thai-style wind mobile in the shape of carp fish, which the Thai people have been using as a symbol of good health and prosperity. The mobile made from woven fan palm fronds, is one of Thailand’s cultural heritages and has been used in the old days as a baby mobile since ancient times.
It is an auspicious mobile based on the belief that Pla-Ta-Pian was a symbol of abundance and strength, as the fish could survive in any water source. It is considered auspicious for a baby and was traditionally hung over a baby’s cradle to bless them with good health and prosperity.
Also as our mascot; the weaving pattern of the adult fish represents the cooperative, intertwined mission efforts exerted by all adult stakeholders in early childhood care and education on carrying the young one across the wave of developmental challenges both now and then and further beyond into the future.
(Note: Pla-Ta-Pian baby mobile is related to “Start Early From Birth”; One adult fish carrying 8 little fishes = 0 to 8 years old)
